It has taken me over a year and a half of training to get to the point I am today.
I certainly made mistakes along the way. I dieted too hard, I lost muscle, I did too much cardio, I overtrained, I had a pinched nerve in my neck, I didn’t train hard enough, I injured my back, I used light weight, I injured my knees, I binged, I was unmotivated at times, I skipped workouts…. the list goes on!
But did I give up? NO.
If I had.. I would not be where I am today. Despite all of my fumbles, I kept pushing forward and trying to improve. Anything worth having does not come easily! Getting healthy and fit takes hard work and a great deal of patience. This is a marathon, not a sprint! Work hard & stay positive.. you will get there!
If you had a bad day, so what? Don’t beat yourself up over it. We ALL have bad days now and again. What’s important is not to let one bad decision be a reason to give up on everything you’ve been working so hard for. Grab your running shoes and get right back into it! Get back to making decisions that improve your health! YOU get to choose where you want to be and who you want to be! Choose to be the best you, you can be. <3
